David Hover, Jonathan Lacey, and I went to Las Vegas in October of 2001 to ride around Las Vegas and participate in general carousing/debauchery. We did the Las Vegas Century on Sunday on next to zero sleep. We were a little more efficient on our Saturday ride, going up what has become one of my favorite climbs, Potosi Pass from Las Vegas. We started at the fabulous Rio Hotel and Casino, where we were staying on a comp, courtesy of "THE SYNDICATE".
